Job Summary
This part-time role in the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington (SPH-B).
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Collaborates with a variety of people including writers, graphic designers, web team, and faculty and staff.
QualificationsEDUCATION
Required- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or related field preferred, but not required.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required- Strong writer with experience in a variety of media, including web and print.
Preferred
- Experience writing a variety of materials (e.g., news stories, social media, print media)
- WCMS experience
SKILLS
Required
- Proficient communication skills
- The willingness to work independently
- The confidence to ask for clarification and guidance when needed
- strong familiarity of both AP style and IU editorial guidelines
PreferredWork LocationThis position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between remote and in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
