JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Medication Orders - Enters prescriptions into pharmacy software for pharmacist review. Pulls and labels hazardous and nonhazardous medications for pharmacist verification. Demonstrates ability to complete basic pharmacy math calculations for specialty medications.

Cold Chain Distribution - Prepares packages for delivery following specific cold chain distribution procedures.

Phone Triage - Performs outpatient phone triage.

Refills - Contacts patients to schedule refills and conduct disease assessments.

Insurance - Performs insurance adjudication and troubleshooting.

Inventory - Receives and enters inventory into pharmacy software.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years' work experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Certified via Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Registered with Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician.
Preferred:- 1+ year of work experience in specialty pharmacy
