Basic Job Functions:
- Read and understand a blueprint.
- Read measuring tape.
- Use the saw machine.
- Use the Punching press machine.
- Housekeeping; clean machine before and after doing cuts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent.
- Must possess the ability to work with hand tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experiences working within a manufacturing company.
