Salary: $55,000.00 USD Annually - $75,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
JDP is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist for one of our manufacturing clients.

*manufacturing industry experience required*

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the role involves researching, analyzing, and forecasting buying trends, markets, styles, and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential vendors through various methods.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure competitive rates and quality.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure product standards.
• Maintain detailed records of vendor agreements and communications.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Ensure timely product delivery to meet customer commitments.
• Review material lists and address shortages.
• Resolve discrepancies in receiving and supplier invoices.
• Maintain accurate product information in the ERP system.
• Prepare reports on sourcing activities and vendor performance.
• Maintain continuous communication with vendors regarding order status.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management

Skills/Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of industry vendors, customers, and competitors.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
