DNV - Energy Management's Technology department is seeking a Product Manager to join our Product team. The Product Manager will support DNV's downstream rebate programs by managing and enhancing applications designed for utility customers and contractors. These solutions enable auditors to conduct energy assessments and generate actionable recommendations while streamlining rebate application systems for energy efficiency, EV chargers, and distributed generation products. The ideal candidate will focus on delivering impactful software tools that improve customer and contractor experiences, drive adoption of clean energy technologies, and ensure alignment with program goals.

This role is based at our DNV office in Houston, TX, presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either aDNV office or client location/site. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with DNV strategy
  • Ship high quality products to major energy customers
  • Lead by example and results
  • Develop systems, tools, and processes for scale
  • Build amazing experiences with cutting edge tech
  • Manage sprints & epics by developing user stories and acceptance criteria, estimate effort in collaboration with development teams, set priorities with input from clients and stakeholders, and oversee quality assurance and user acceptance testing
  • Work with customers and the product team to collect feedback and iterate
  • Deliver best in class clean energy products
  • Support existing tools, identify enhancements, track and promote usage across company, and develop training materials

As required by the Pay Transparency laws in Colorado, New York City, California, Washington, and Connecticut, DNV provides a reasonable compensation range for roles that may be hired in those locations. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the states of Colorado, New York City, NY, California, Washington, and Connecticut only, the range of starting pay for this role is $115,000 - $140,000 USD.

What is Required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 or more years of hands-on product management experience
  • Proven track record of launching successful software, mobile or online products or services.
  • Successful track record in working closely with engineering teams to deliver large, cross-functional, projects on fast paced schedules.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deliverables, and remaining flexible
  • Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing sprints
  • Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Presentation and training experience
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
What is Preferred
  • MS Dev Ops, Aha! Or similar issue tracking and road mapping software
  • Familiarity with downstream rebate programs and processes for utilities or governments
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations and data exchange protocols
  • Experience with low code software
  • Energy efficiency, renewable energy, or energy storage experience
  • Understanding of distributed generation technologies, such as solar, battery storage, or EV chargers
  • Hands-on experience with low-code solutions for rapid application development and deployment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
