The Review & Decision team's charter is to build a best-in-class risk review for Meta's product teams. Ensuring a quality assessment of product risks such as Privacy, Integrity, Legal, and Youth is a key contributor to Meta's compliance with global regulation such as the 2020 FTC Order and the Digital Services Act. Efficient reviews enables product teams to ship more quickly, a key lever in accelerating Meta's product growth. As a key member of the Review & Decision team, you will play a critical role in enhancing Meta's compliance position by providing teams with a simple, unified, and consistent method to evaluate and mitigate product risks.We're hiring for a PM to grow the number of risk reviews supported in the risk review product, Launch Manager; and ensure we are operationally set up to scale the services and jobs-to-be-done to support this growth. This includes two key items in H2: a) setting a long-term strategy for integrating new risk types (e.g. GenAI) into the unified multi-risk review and b) migrating Research Review into the Launch Manager tool (driving OpEx savings).

Product Manager, Review and Compliance Platform Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, legal, and program management to ensure the successful migration of risk reviews onto the launch platform.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for web-based products and platforms.
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and/or products.
  • Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers, while maintaining team health.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics.
  • Understand Facebook's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years product management or related industry experience
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in the following:
  • Experience product management or product design
  • Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones
  • Experience delivering technical presentations
  • Experience gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution
  • Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design
  • Proven communication skills
  • This role requires someone experience to embrace ambiguity, partner effectively across a number of organizations and functions such as Program Management, Engineering, Design, Legal, and UXR.
  • Experience improving complex and high-visibility processes and developing tooling to simplify executing a process


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Experience going through a full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution.
  • Proven to be enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment in which the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
  • Experience functioning in a regulated/compliance focused environment (e.g. Privacy, Security, Integrity, etc.)

$142,000/year to $201,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
