POSITION SUMMARY
As part of the Global Strategic Accounts execution team, this role provides value to our customers by overseeing strategic initiatives across one or more global strategic accounts. This role will be involved from quoting phase through the operational phase of all customer sites as well as work on initiatives within Vertiv that aid the account. In this role you will indirectly lead cross functional teams to resolve program wide issues. This role will also focus on our digital platforms, mainly Oracle, Smartsheet and Power BI which are used to aid in the execution of our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with sales to ensure quotes have revenue allocated correctly.
- Partner with order management to ensure orders are booked properly, free of errors.
- Partner with order management to ensure manufacturing and shipping of product takes place as scheduled and escalate potential risk to the execution manager.
- Independently lead efforts to solve program wide issues pertaining to but not limited to design, quality, manufacturing, shipping, and operations.
- Lead data integrity efforts for equipment pertaining to assigned customer by ensuring data in install base is updated and accurate.
- Ensure data being reported to customer pertaining to ship dates, serial numbers, model numbers etc... is 100% accurate and correct any discrepancies.
- Work with assigned function leader to define/set appropriate targets for improvement efforts and measure progress to targets.
- Ensure all change orders are entered properly in CPQ and are booked in EBS.
- Ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence.
- Leads functional analysis including baseline of core business processes and financial analysis and continuous measurement and improvement.
- Oversee deployment of field change notice (FCN) and factory direct service (FDS).
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Job Qualifications: - 3 + years in program management, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain environment
- Prior experience indirectly influencing project teams
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of 5 plus years' experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Hands-on experience in the application of Lean/Six Sigma methods and way of thinking.
- Strong leadership, organizational, project management and inter-personal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in local language and English.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, including the use of statistical modeling techniques, root cause analysis and other tools and methods typically deployed to drive operational improvements.
- Ability to influence and lead in a matrix organization to drive accountably and execution of VOS mindset and activities.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS - Working in office full time.
TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED - Less than 5% Travel Required
