Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Project Coordinator supports assessment and student success efforts including documentation, reporting, coordination of support efforts, and collaborating with campus partners. Occasional school related evening and weekend event work may be required.
Department Overview:
The School of the Arts sits within the College of Arts and Sciences at Boise State University. It serves as a vibrant urban hub for the study, practice, and integration of the arts-empowering 21st-century artists to live and create. The School of the Arts includes: Art, Design and Visual Studies; Music; Theatre, Film and Creative Writing; Games, Interactive Media & Mobile Technology; and Arts Entrepreneurship programs. The School anchors arts and cultural life at the university by offering a myriad of opportunities to engage with creative activities.
Level Scope:
Fully competent and productive professional contributor who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
Essential Functions:
60% of Time the Programs & Projects Coordinator must:
• Plan, manage, budget, and support implementation of programs and activities including faculty development workshops, and consultation offerings
• Coordinate assessment documentation and reporting for faculty and student support activities
• Provide campus-wide technical support and assistance for development and maintenance activities
• Develop and implement a communication plan (to internal and external audiences) including marketing materials, social media, and reports related to program initiatives
• Conduct research and summarize data to inform decision making, evaluate program effectiveness or alternatives, and to inform program development
• Maintain and update website with timely information, point of contact for upgrades and web compliance
35% of the time:
• Support School Director with management and implementation of strategic initiatives (i.e. student success, experiential learning, and community engagement, etc.)
• Operational support of the core financial functions for the School of the Arts and the Stein Luminary, including P-Card, invoicing, payment reconciliation, and other routine purchasing tasks (approx budgetary responsibility: $40,000 annually).
• Event coordination: Occasional evening and weekend coordination of School-related events may be required. Building or Stein Luminary tours occasionally.
• Technical support of the Stein Luminary, an all-digital museum space: This may include liaising with campus OIT, software vendors, and other stakeholders; displaying and setting up pre-made programming, etc. The position will be the main point of contact for Faculty or Student use of the museum, which will occasionally include presentations or workshops, in coordination with faculty and staff from the college, school, and departments.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience.
Salary and Benefits:
