The Technology Simplification initiative is an enterprise-wide effort aimed at optimizing the organization's technology ecosystem while standardizing and automating common business processes. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager Principal to support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Technology Simplification projects across the organization.
This role involves overseeing multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle, from the development of value bundles to governance and execution. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals and delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
Essential Functions

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts across departments to ensure alignment, decision-making, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Governance and Oversight:
- Maintain governance processes to ensure project milestones are met with appropriate levels of oversight and accountability.

Communication:
- Create and deliver on cadence clear and concise updates to stakeholders at all levels. Proactively escalate risks, issues, or changes in scope when necessary.

Project Planning and Execution
- Ensure proper scope, objectives, and deliverables are defined in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure timely execution of project tasks and milestones.

Reporting and Tooling:
- Definine standard weekly reports and collaborate in creating dynamic reports using Enterprise tooling such as PowerBI

Risk and Change Management:
- Monitor project progress and address issues promptly to minimize impact. Assist in implementing a change management process
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects or programs, particularly those involving technology or cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts in or between the project team, cross-functional groups, and leadership
- Strong communication and collaboration ability to effectively communicate complex information to a diverse team of team/peers, cross-functional/OpCo teams, and management
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Minimum ExperienceSeven years professional work experience. At least 3 years experience in facilitation of large programs or multi-function projects in a practical business setting.
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFamiliarity with the transportation/logistics industry and expertise in multifunctional project/program leadership experience desired.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communications skills required.
Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: US Pay Range: $8,007.29/month - $14,413.11/month
