Description:
You will provide the program/project support for the Enterprise Privacy Operations major initiatives, such as providing operational support for Privacy Impact Assessments, Privacy controls and implementation of new privacy laws. When there are challenges, people look to you for solutions.
You have an ability to assess the current state, anticipate situations, and respond swiftly to achieve winning outcomes. You are a trusted leader who adapts well in a changing environment. You enjoy getting into the details while maintaining focus on the big picture. Most importantly, you are a self-starter and can work with limited supervision and direction.
Responsibilities include:
• Leverage project management industry best practices to ensure project delivery with clear accountability and transparency across the teams and business stakeholders, including drafting project charters, stakeholder analysis, requirements definition, project planning, tracking, and reporting and risk management
• Lead efforts to proactively identify risks and issues across the Enterprise Privacy landscape and facilitates early remediation.
• Define tools and templates to support release planning, sprint schedules, status reporting, and milestone tracking.
• Identify, communicate, and coordinate interdependencies across portfolios, work efforts, and delivery teams.
• Develop and report monthly KPIs for the Enterprise Privacy PMO and assigned projects
• Act as a change agent to articulate intent, drive awareness, and support communications and training to ensure effective adoption of new privacy initiatives and related data governance capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of an intake process to manage Enterprise Privacy initiatives.
• Provide actionable guidance to internal stakeholders on application and implementation of all applicable global privacy and data protections laws, regulations and standards, including GDPR & CPRA.
• Analyze privacy issues as they arise and provide expert advice to business and support units as required, particularly for new studies, services and systems
• Responsible for project management and compliance monitoring of organizational processes, such as privacy assessments and fulfilment of consumer privacy obligations.
• Ability to understand, interpret and translate complex business and technical requirements.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
• 6+ years of technical project management experience required.
• 2+ years of work experience in Compliance, Information Security, Risk Management or Privacy.
• Executive-level communication and deck-building skills.
• Advanced skills in Google Workspace tools.
• Self-starter
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Knowledge of relevant data security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, NIST) and privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR).
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor's in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field. PMP, IAPP (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT), CISSP and/or Lean Six Sigma a plus.
