Quality Assurance Manager

Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $115,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
The Judge Group is in search of a Quality Manager to lead all quality programs and compliance for the Manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
• Develops, deploys and maintains all internal Quality systems and processes including training, internal auditing, document control and manufacturing quality plans.Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
• Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
• Provides Quality oversight, guidance and support for raw material qualifications, technology transfer, product scale-up, trial production runs, pilot production and equipment validation.
• Responsible for Continuous Improvement projects to improve the effectiveness of quality systems, associated manufacturing processes, key metrics, cost of non-conformances and in turn, enhance customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
• 5+ years of Quality experience and 2+ years of Quality supervisory experience
• Advanced knowledge of quality methods and systems is required (statistics, control plans, sampling and auditing)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
• PPAP/APQP experience
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
