Job Title:Reporting & Analytics ManagerDepartment:Health Sciences | Government Resource Center

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for the position of Manager 3, Reporting and Analytics. This position functions as the lead of the Instrumental Data section at the GRC and functions as an Assistant Director. The GRC engages in applied health services and population health research in a project-based team setting.GRC's Instrumental Data section currently consists of eight researchers and research managers who specialize in health quality measurement construction and production, health-related administrative data analytics, and linkage methodology. The successful candidate will: (1) Contribute to project work as a Principal Investigator, technical expert, and/or team or task lead; (2) mentor and supervise multiple staff members (including other managers); (3) coordinate Instrumental Data section activities such as hiring and project assignments; (4) contribute to new project development; and (5) assist in leadership activities across GRC's organization as a member of the Leadership Team.

The successful candidate should have substantial technical expertise and experience in multiple of the following areas: health quality measurement design and execution, data linkage, data cleaning, and statistical analysis of large administrative databases. Examples of relevant domain experience for a successful candidate include Medicaid claims analysis, population health, substance use disorder, maternal and infant health, electronic health records, healthcare effectiveness performance measures (i.e., HEDIS), and quality improvement methods for healthcare. The successful candidate should have substantial expertise in SAS with the ability to mentor and teach others. In addition, experience or expertise with Python, SQL, R, and Git is desired.

Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with evidence of increasing responsibility; 5 years with an advanced degree

Supervisory experience

Preferred:

12 years of relevant experience preferred; 10 years with an advanced degree

Doctoral degree in relevant field of study

Experience as a Principal or Co-Principal Investigator
