Job Summary:

Provide management consulting, operational excellence, product/process engineering, and advanced technology solutions to accelerate the profitable growth and competitiveness of Texas Manufacturing. Seeks, identifies, assesses, sells, proposes, delivers, trains, coordinates, and manages applied research and technology projects to create significant financial return on customer investment while ensuring superior customer and investor satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement and sustainable growth strategies for TMAC customers through expert guidance and implementation of unique solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage Quality Management System Projects and Quality Control projects.
  • Ensure Quality Management Systems align with the ISO or applicable standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement project plants for Quality Management Systems and Internal Audits.
  • Lead the implementation of various ISO standards (ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 14001) for TMAC customers in various industries. Customize the implementation process to meet the specific needs of each organization.
  • Provide comprehensive training and coaching to customers on ISO standards and best practices.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with ISO standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Assist companies in preparing for ISO certification audits, ensuring all necessary criteria is met.
  • Perform detailed assessments of quality processes and provide detailed reports, gap analyses, and provide improvement solutions for TMAC customers.
  • Conduct thorough OSHA training walkthroughs at TMAC customer facilities to identify safety hazards and potential violations.
  • Develop comprehensive reports outlining findings, safety concerns, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Design and deliver OSHA training programs to ensure customer compliance with safety regulations and improve workplace safety culture.
  • Work with TMAC customers to implement corrective actions and monitor progress towards achieving a safer work environment.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to research, develop, and demonstrate TMAC Sustainability, Energy, and EH&S capabilities.
  • Manage, coordinate, and execute customer projects while quantifying impact and assisting customers with reporting results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field with five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, environmental consulting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Required Certifications: Internal Auditor Certification
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing, environmental consulting or related field.
  • Prior experience conducting E3 assessments.
  • Prior experience working with the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
  • Professional critical thinking and analytical abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Proficiency in Salesforce.
Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt, Additional ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
  • Solid understanding of environmental regulations and energy management practices
  • Professional project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in designing and delivering training programs
  • Grant Proposal writing, including identifying funding opportunities, preparing comprehensive applications, and assisting with the submission process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills from front-line staff to C-Level suite
  • Creative problem-solving abilities for developing innovative solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, exhibit leadership to guide customer teams, and demonstrate high attention to detail
  • Adaptability to diverse client needs and dynamic project requirements
  • Strategic thinking to align initiatives with organizational goals, ensures their ability to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence in manufacturing companies.
Other Requirements :

  • Solid understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to manufacturing, environmental protection, workplace safety, and energy management.
Working Conditions:

  • May be exposed to industrial settings or manufacturing plants, some conditions may be hazardous.
  • May be exposed to industrial settings or manufacturing plants that could be hazardous.
  • Conditions could consist of extreme temperatures, high noise levels, poor air quality.
  • Industries could be working in chemical processing, oil and gas, and manufacturing processes that could be at risk for fire.
  • Slips, trips, and falls are common hazards in manufacturing environments.
Special Conditions for Eligibility:

Manufacturing facilities could operate 24/7 requiring visits to different shifts including odd hours of the day/week. Projects and assessments may require extended hours onsite to ensure thorough evaluation.
