Are you a sales superstar looking to take your talents to the next level? Join our team at Sun Communities and embark on an exciting new opportunity! We are looking for a Sales Manager to oversee the sales one of our communities.

OVERVIEW

As a Sales Manager, you'll manage the new home and brokered sales within a specified manufactured housing community, including the advertising, inputting of home orders, coordinating closings, and showing homes to prospects. Additionally, you'll hire and supervise all sales team members.

JOB DUTIES

  • Coordinate team member selection, training, scheduling and development and ensure team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Show prospective buyers new, pre-owned and brokered homes for sales in the community.
  • Collaborate with Community Manager to select sites for Sun Homes models; assist in decision making and processing orders of model homes, including pricing.
  • Prioritize site preparation for incoming retail sold homes and new Sun model homes.
  • Coordinate model presentation (i.e. cleaning, furniture, repairs, and warranty work).
  • Advertise and market homes for sale in the community (i.e. ads, flyers, mailers, banners, community outreach, etc.).
  • Coordinate and host open houses as necessary.
  • Request closing packages and perform closings.
  • Handle and resolve buyer issues as needed.
  • Produce monthly reports on sales, traffic and sales campaigns.
  • Handle and supervise all calls and traffic to the Sales office.
  • Review and authorize invoices for payment pertaining to Sun Homes sales.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • REQUIREMENTS
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Minimum of 5 years real estate sales experience, preferably in the manufactured housing industry
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills
    • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
    • Basic computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to use email and internet
