Job Title: Senior Accountant

Compensation: $95k- $105k/yr + bonus
Job Summary:
A leading manufacturer in Windsor, NJ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee and manage financial operations at the site. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing month-end and year-end close processes, handling tax filings, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. The role requires someone with substantial accounting experience, including a strong background in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the monthly Financial Reporting Package and Operations Deck, including a detailed Profit & Loss statement with variance explanations, capital expenditure tracking, and other financial and operational KPIs.
- Actively participate in general accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Manage the month-end and year-end close processes for the site, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Handle statutory reports, sales and use tax returns, and other required tax filings.
- Prepare daily and weekly performance reports and provide management with key operational metrics.
- Manage all billing and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments (note: disbursements are managed off-site).
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset register, ensuring accurate tracking of capital expenditures.
- Continuously monitor the internal control environment, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (B.A. or equivalent).

5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with QuickBooks and ERP systems.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
