What You'll Do (Role Purpose):

The position is responsible for the development of a world class manufacturing organization and asset footprint that can safely and consistently deliver the product supply needs of the North American Businesses. The scope includes responsibility for all Manufacturing matters for the North American Personal Care Businesses or the North American Tissue Businesses. The incumbent will be required to play a key role in the Enterprise Supply Chain organization providing leadership and input to the development and execution of enterprise standards.

The position has direct responsibility for ~5,000 KC employees with 8-10 direct reports (Mill Managers at Director and Senior Director level)

  • Role reports to VP of North America Manufacturing
  • Must effectively interact with all levels of the organization and across functions from front line hourly employees through the Group Presidents and ELT members (CSCO specifically)
  • Incumbent has decision rights for all aspects of Manufacturing Operations in order top safely meet supply needs at lowest possible cost.
  • Incumbent will play a key role in broader Supply Chain and Business Unit decision making and must have the ability and capability to influence at senior levels of the organization

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all products are manufactured safely, meeting all the applicable regulation and standards and at the right time and cost so that the overall business / financial objectives are met.
  • Lead the deployment of the EHS Strategy across Manufacturing Operations in close partnership with Enterprise EHS team.
  • Develop a culture of zero loss mindset across the NA Manufacturing organization.
  • Drive improvements across all principal accountabilities of safety, quality, culture, delivery, and cost to enable to efficient growth of the businesses in North America
  • Lead effective implementation NA Manufacturing Excellence strategy (OPEX, LSS, Digital Manufacturing, Reliability Excellence) enabling NA Asset Base to achieve benchmark performance enabling the growth of the business.
  • Reinvigorate the Lean Continuous improvement culture across manufacturing teams, with specific focus on Leadership capability development.
  • Build talent of staff deputies and plant functional leaders; manage team member performance and career development.
  • Lead the development and execution of the manufacturing facility 5 year strategic business plans
  • Internal and External performance benchmarking and driving best practice adoption across NA and enterprise.
  • Drive standardization across NA ensuring rapid adoption and deployment of enterprise standards.

Experiences We're Looking For

Required (essential for the job):

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of driving results and fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and change management skills

Preferred (not essential, but desired):

  • MBA or advance degree
  • Experience in FDA regulated manufacturing environments (specifically med devices)
