Overview
The Services Software Engineer is responsible for creating API connections with client data for both importing and exporting processes using C#. Daily tasks involve working with existing databases and performing data extraction, transformation, and load. The Services Software Engineer is responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize processes and recommending development of best practices to the Professional Services organization. The Services Software Engineer will primarily work with internal teams but may be required to communicate and/or travel to client sites as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications web sites to seamlessly integrate our SaaS products to support healthcare industry programs
• Create API connections to resolve reported issues and to provide clients with data not readily available in reporting options.
• Be a champion for department initiatives and values ensuring all actions promote the department's mission statement
• Develop high-quality solutions utilizing best of breed technology solutions
• Develop Windows and Web Services for custom integrations with existing Symplr/External Applications
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
• Build and Analyze SQL queries.
• Assist Customer Support/IT/DevOps teams in trouble shooting performance issues
• Provide timely scheduled time management reporting
• Must be a self-starter always looking for opportunities to assist or improve
• Other duties and projects as assigned

• Ability to plan and execute a technical demo set-up

Qualifications Required:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant real-world experience
• Experience in Development or Similar Roles
  • 1-3 years of experience with API
  • 1-3 years of experience with C#
  • 1-3 years of experience with SQL query writing
  • 1-3 years of experience with SQL Server/SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS (Preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience with ASP.NET, XML, jQuery, JSON and Ajax (Preferred)
• Object-Oriented design and implementation skills (Preferred)
• Familiarity with the practical application of SQL databases
• Familiarity with Web Services and Windows Services
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub
