Volt is immediately hiring multiple Shipping and Receiving Clerks for a manufacturer in Santa Ana, CA.
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will:
- Correctly interpret work orders and verify documentation
- Lift up to 45lbs
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
- Unload trucks - (Visual Inspection, Verification of received goods)
- Prepare materials for inspections
- Pull stock to prepare shipments
- Palletize goods (banding, wrapping etc.)
- Basic system transactions
- Basic packaging tasks (weigh count, labeling, visual inspection etc.)
- Creating basic shipping documentation (BOL, POD etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Hours are full time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 5am - 1:30pm plus overtime as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 6 months or more of related experience
- Must have basic English communication skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Pay Rate: $19-20/hr
