Summary:
The Software Engineer will be responsible for investigating and escalating issues encountered in the field with product software , p rogramming , o bject oriented programming ( OOP), new product development pertaining to software upgrades and software automation . The individual will execute software test methodology , perform root cause analysis, manage local quality software standards , throughout the software development life cycle . Software engineers monitor the PMQ software and automation processes and are responsible for leading on a risk-based approach to software defect escalation and problem solving . The role involves analyzing and investigating the software issues associated with interoperability, governing software, Guardrails™, supporting product updates, and working closely with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks, maintain product integrity, and ensure patient safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • Experience in medical device industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of C#, Microsoft .NET framework, WPF, SQL Server, ASP.Net, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Web API, and RESTful Services required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or higher required
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into software specifications required
  • Proficient problem solving skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines required
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Salary Range Information
$79,000.00 - $130,400.00
