This role is full stack, working on both frontend and backend development. Your primary focus will be designing, implementing and supporting React based frontends and C# based backends and integrating with MES and ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate on the specification, design, implementation, deployment, and testing of software applications.
2. Recommend and implement processes following industry best practices for developing, testing, and deploying software.
3. Prepare and maintain design and specification documentation.
4. Serve as a technical contact for internal customers.
5. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
6. Understand. Create. Simplify.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Current student pursuing a degree in computer science or equivalent with at least one year of technical coursework completed
Ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer
Programming experience in C#, Java or equivalent Object Oriented programming language
Experience programming in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure, GCS), or Functional Programming is a plus
Experience with design or UI/UX is a plus
Practical knowledge of networking, IP addressing and TCP sockets
Collaborates in a team environment
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Excellent writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
