Job Description:
Primary Purpose: To support strategic sourcing plans aimed at developing a robust talent pipeline to meet the current and future staffing needs of the organization. This role employs social media, advanced sourcing techniques, employer branding, and cold-calling to actively maintain and grow an effective talent pool.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing:
- Proactively identify, document, and deliver both active and passive candidates for current and future staffing needs using strategies such as social media, referrals, industry events, and cold-calling.
- Leverage tracking mechanisms to monitor passive talent sourcing, competitive sourcing, and business/market trends.
- Build functional sourcing processes utilizing Boolean strings, job boards, social media platforms, and other sourcing techniques.
Pipeline Development:
- Develop and manage diverse talent pipelines by engaging with professional organizations and networks.
- Assess and determine the best sourcing channels to meet client needs effectively.
Collaboration:
- Partner with the broader talent acquisition team to educate staff and management on market trends and sourcing strategies.
- Contribute to candidate presentation, selection processes, and solutions addressing competitive market challenges.
Employer Branding:
- Actively promote the organization's employer brand through sourcing efforts and candidate engagement.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support organizational quality programs.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of sourcing and building candidate pipelines.
- 4+ years of recruiting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Previous sourcing experience strongly preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong sourcing expertise, including Boolean search, networking, and social media utilization.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, analysis, and talent acquisition best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other relevant tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
