Judge Healthcare is currently looking for Speech Language Pathologist in Douglas County, CO!

As a School Speech Language Pathologist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students with speech and language needs. You'll work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students to provide evidence-based intervention, promote positive communication, and enhance educational access. Responsibilities

• Student Services Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of every treatment/session delivered to students, whether direct or indirect services.
• Document student services eligible for Medicaid reimbursement (if current CCC's with ASHA are held).
• Prepare required reports on students' progress and development.

• Student Support and Counseling:

• Provide student support and counseling for academic challenges.
• Support extracurricular activities, including social events, sports, clubs, and student organizations.
• Participate in department and school meetings and engage with parents.

• Classroom Management:

• Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Apply appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.

• Instructional Activities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Utilize technology to enhance educational materials and resources.

• Individual Education Programs (IEPs):

• Collaborate to design IEPs that align with the Guaranteed Viable Curriculum (GVCs).
• Support academic growth, positive social relationships, functional communication, and positive behavior for learning.

• Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech Pathology (Required).
• Colorado School Speech Language Pathologist License.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
