Description:
Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Repairing all equipment to original performance standards and specifications in a timely manner.
• Keeping all equipment in good working order.
• Working with equipment suppliers' service representatives as required.
• Following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety guidelines, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations related to food service.
• Communicating needs for spare parts as outlined in the spare parts inventory.
• Identifying equipment with poor performance history to the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintaining equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Communicating safety and sanitation issues to Safety and Sanitation Leaders, area leaders, Production Shift Supervisor, and Plant Manager.
• Reviewing maintenance requests with the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensuring the maintenance work area is clean, sanitary, and well-organized.
• Instructing appropriate team leaders in the proper handling of equipment to minimize damage.
• Reporting to work on time, in a clean and complete uniform, and maintaining good personal hygiene.
• Following safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Strictly adhering to all company policies and procedures outlined in the policy manual.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Industrial Electrical and Control wiring understanding required.
• Food manufacturing experience
• General facility maintenance skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Capability to fabricate and upgrade equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
