Staff Accountant

We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. As part of this team, you will oversee the complete General Ledger (GL) and month-end close process for a dedicated portfolio, offering you ownership and accountability in driving accurate financial reporting.

You'll prepare and review general journal entries, manage fixed asset reconciliations, and diligently monitor account balances to ensure integrity across financial records. A strong grasp of debits and credits, accruals, pre-paid accounts, and both account and bank reconciliation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Experience: Solid background in debits/credits, accruals, prepaids, and full-cycle month-end close responsibilities.
• Excel Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a meticulous approach to account reconciliations and financial data.
• Articulate Communicator: Ability to clearly communicate findings, variances, and reports to team members and leadership.
• Longevity and Stability: Ideal candidates will bring a track record of job stability and reliability.
