Strategic Sourcing Consult, Senior

Location: Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, providing various levels of flexibility while also ensuring that associates have opportunities to connect in-person. Unless in a designated virtual-eligible role and specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.

The Strategic Sourcing Consult, Senior is responsible for supporting Procurement. Responsible for leading best practice and expense management business analysis efforts that cover the full breadth of the company.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Manages Corporate Services sourcing and other indirect categories, including but not limited to: HR, Compliance, Legal, and Finance.
• Leverages prior sourcing and contracting experience in listed categories to make an immediate impact.
• Emphasis on contract management - drafting, redlining, negotiating Master Services and other services-type agreements, Statements of Work, and Change Orders/Amendments.
• Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders and strategic suppliers.
• Manages high volume contract workload with multiple internal stakeholders (regulatory, legal, risk, vendor management, infosec, etc.).
• Requires high degree of organizational and project management skills.
• Designs and develops spend reports and identifies areas of sourcing and savings opportunity for presentation to internal business.
• Builds, socializes, and executes strategic sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
• Participates in annual planning meetings with business stakeholders to enable appropriate go-forward sourcing support.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS; 6 years of experience in sourcing/supplier selection with at least 4 years experience with negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• MBA preferred.
• CPM preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $95,128.00 to $148,896.00
