Superintendent, Gypsum Operations

Where will you work - Onsite (Bonnie Facility/FL sites)

What will you do:

• Oversee gypsum, water management, and maintenance activities for assigned concentrates facilities.
  
• Provide technical leadership and work direction to ops teams to assure environmental compliance, safety, and efficient operations.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws, permits, and standards.
  
• Develop and manage expense budgets and forecasts for assigned gypsum operations and Idle facilities.
  
• Provide management of third-party resources and contracts.
  
• Work cooperatively with team and associated stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements or projects that improve efficiency, costs, quality, safety, environmental performance, and risk profile.
  
• Develop, communicate, and manage operational gypsum stacking and process water management plans.
  
• Measure and monitor stack growth and process water inventories.
  
• Guide teams in plan execution.
  
• Develop and coach employees to retain and grow organizational talent and support employees in their career development.
  
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals, and performance standards.
  

• 8 years - engineering, construction, gyp stack operation or related
  
• Ability to interface with all levels of management.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills.
  
• Must demonstrate ability to influence upward and coach downward; requires strong leadership qualities.
  
• Ability to read and interpret engineering design drawings
  
• Personal integrity, teamwork skills and communication skills are critical to this position.
  
• Standard Business and Engineering Applications
  
• Professional Engineer certification preferred
