RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a T&E Manager in Sterling, VA.Summary:In this role, you will oversee the entire T&E process including travel bookings, expense submissions, and reimbursement approvals, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations (FAR/CAS).Key Tasks:- Manage and optimize Chrome River, ensuring the platform is configured to support policy updates, user needs, and reporting requirements
- T&E Manager will train employees on Chrome River system usage, T&E policies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure expenses are accurately documented, processed, and compliant with both company standards and regulatory guidelines
- Review and approve high-value travel and expense reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints
- Collaborate with the Finance, Accounting, and Compliance teams to align the T&E process with broader business objectives, including audits and reporting
- Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., travel agencies, Chrome River support)
- As a T&E Manager, you will analyze expense data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential policy improvements
- Stay up to date with GovCon industry standards, FAR updates, and other relevant regulatory changes, ensuring all travel and expense policies reflect these updates
- Assist in the preparation and support of internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation related to T&E processes and expenses
REQUIREMENTS:
- Chrome River experience is a must; This candidate will be the expert in this T&E tool, so you should know this in and out
- CC program management experience; They won't be implementing this program but need to be able to understand the controls that go in place with these
- Experience working with a large organization (2,000 employees)
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment
- A general curious mind to formulate new ideas and process improvements
- Someone who is a team player
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
