IU Human Resources supports the broader Indiana University academic and research mission, through a wide variety of strategic and operational functions related to recruiting, retaining, and developing a diverse employee workforce.
IU Human Resources provides university-wide services with the explicit recognition of the following customers: executives, managers, employees, and federal and state agencies. Job Summary
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary and first point of contact for Talent Acquisition (TA).
- Provides guidance to HR representatives on TA processes and procedures.
- In collaboration with Coordinator counterpart, manages the TA team email account by responding to support tickets and emails, or by forwarding to appropriate department when necessary.
- Reviews all Staff and Part-Time job openings for all IU campuses to ensure they match Talent Acquisition branding standards before being posted online.
- Collaborates with other HR professionals (Compensation, departmental HRBPs, etc.) to ensure accuracy of job summaries, position titles, and qualifications.
- Maintains strict department service level agreement (SLA) of "same day, next business day" for all job openings being processed.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues involving the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), PeopleSoft TAM, escalating to Specialist when necessary.
General Responsibilities
- Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains HR related documentation.
- Assists HR team by researching information and answering HR or policy relate questions.
- Creates, compiles, and prepares reports and documents for HR related activities.
- May work closely with other HR functional areas.
- Performs data entry for processing transactions and maintaining and keeping employee information current.
- Provides administrative support to other HR staff.
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and documents.
QualificationsCombinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.
EDUCATION
Required- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required- 2 years of administrative support, preferably providing HR support

Working Conditions / DemandsThis role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

This position is eligible for remote work, subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
Advertised Salary$40,000 - $41,000 annually
