This Technician II is part of the Metrology unit located in Coralville, IA and will be on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.
Shift: Weekday Overnight (Monday - Thursday: 7:30pm - 6:00am)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform testing on various types of equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
Document testing and other actions performed with detail and precision, into the CCMS (computerized maintenance management system)
Maintain Rees System (fridge and freezer monitoring system) and performs basic trouble shooting for system problems
The essential requirements of the job include:
A high school diploma and two (2) years of related experience or an associate degree in a science related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Bachelor's degree in science related field is preferred.
Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
