Holman - a Computerworld 2024 "Best Places to Work in IT" company - is hiring a Technology Business Analyst, to help define and deliver innovative solutions that drive our business forward.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst/Product Owner to join our Product Management team within the IT organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the IT department, ensuring that business processes and requirements are accurately captured and effectively translated into technical solutions.
This BA/PO will work with the Salesforce Admin/Dev teams to build capabilities needed by our Customer Support, Sales and Supply Chain teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scope and oversee the development lifecycle and deployment of major and minor system innovations, enhancements, features and functionality for Holman's Fleet Service Salesforce implementation.
- Business Requirements Gathering: Researches each project assignment with business and IT stakeholders to ensure all internal and external end users' needs are met. Puts together the business requirement documentation needed to provide an overview of the main deliverables of the project.
- Documentation: responsible for creating and maintaining documentation - business requirements, process flows, functional specs, User Stories, Epics.
- Solution Design: Manage the end-to-end design process (problem, solution, implementation) including partnering with UX Design to align user flows, prototypes, and designs - all within Salesforce and integrations with existing legacy tools.
- Approach: Take a data-driven, empirical approach to solution design.
- Evaluation: Help identify platform design needs from a potential and/or existing users and help drive the formulation of hypotheses and solutions.
- Creation: Work with development to help push rapid iteration on Holman platforms and achieve performance targets by making real-time decisions on platform design specifications.
- Deployment: Collaborate with team to create and distribute Release Notes, training documentation, and communications around platform changes and enhancements. Works with Product Managers and the operational business team members to create transition plans for rolling out enhancements.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to understand the problem, support decision making, track progress, and understand user behavior.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies within the team, recommending actionable solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: facilitate communication between business and ops teams, ensuring there is clarity and alignment on goals and business objectives.
- Organizational Collaboration: Collaborate and communicate effectively with all Platform Management & Design team members and all other IT and Holman Organizational Teams.
- Platform Support: Tackle complex technical problems and work to help users feel more confident using our applications. Responsively and effectively handle issues. Assist in educating and training the Helpdesk and Sales & Training Teams regarding new system features and functionality to set the project deployment up for success.
- Platform Feedback: Creates and implements feedback tracking procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within an IT organization.
- Must have Salesforce experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), project management software, and experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
