As we continue to expand and grow, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations to help us drive operational excellence and execute our long-term vision.

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Operations (VPO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The VPO will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery while executing the strategic direction set forth by the CEO. This role is critical in ensuring the operational success and growth of the organization, as well as fostering a culture of excellence in service, compliance, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategic Planning:
    • Partner with the CEO to translate the company's vision and strategic goals into actionable operational plans.
    • Lead the execution of short-term and long-term business objectives, aligning daily operations with the company's mission, vision, and values.
    • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Day-to-Day Operations Management:
    • Oversee and manage the daily operations of all departments, including clinical care, administration, and logistics.
    • Ensure operational efficiency by optimizing workflows, processes, and resource allocation to meet business demands and improve service quality.
    • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics and KPIs, ensuring that operational goals are met or exceeded.
  • Team Management and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop senior leadership teams within the operations function to drive performance, engagement, and growth.
    • Build and maintain a high-performing, collaborative, and results-oriented operations team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Budget and Financial Management:
    • Collaborate with the CEO to develop, implement, and manage the operational budget, ensuring effective cost control and resource management.
    • Monitor financial performance to ensure that operational goals are met within budgetary constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure the company adheres to all relevant regulatory and compliance standards in the home health industry.
    • Implement and oversee risk management strategies to ensure patient safety, data security, and organizational compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, families, and healthcare partners, ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
    • Act as a point of escalation for operational issues, working to resolve challenges swiftly and efficiently.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive operational innovation through the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve patient care, operational efficiencies, and business performance.
    • Continuously assess and refine operational processes to enhance service quality, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Provide regular operational reports and updates to the CEO, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
    • Conduct data analysis and use insights to recommend improvements, optimize processes, and drive company-wide performance.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • At least 10 years of experience in senior operational management roles within the home healthcare industry or a similar healthcare services environment.
    • Proven track record of success in managing day-to-day operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and leading diverse teams.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and risk management principles.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive operational excellence.
    • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and achieving financial goals.
    • Expertise in performance metrics, data analysis, and process optimization.

Compensation:

This is a full time salaried position with expected salary of between $150,000 - $180,000 commensurate with experience, with an annual bonus
