IDR is seeking a Workday Customer Accounts Lead o join one of our top clients in the Technology, Media, and Telecom industry. This role is perfect for a certified Workday Financials professional with extensive experience in Customer Accounts, Billing, and Revenue Recognition. Position Overview/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Workday Finance, emphasizing Customer Accounts, Billing, Contracts, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Manage client needs, business processes, and custom validations in Workday.
  • Offer solutions or alternatives when Workday functionality is limited.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the client’s team to address open issues and manage tasks through ServiceNow.
  • Maintain regular communication with Engagement Managers and project teams, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Lead client engagement workstreams aimed at process improvement, optimization, and transformation, including implementing best practices and driving operational results.
  • This is a 12-month contract position with occasional travel to client locations in LA and NYC.


Required Skills for WD Customer Accounts Lead:
  • Workday Financials certification
  • Extensive experience with Workday Customer Accounts, Billing, and Revenue Recognition
  • Experience managing custom validations in Workday and offering alternative solutions when needed
  • Ability to independently or collaboratively lead projects and workstreams
  • Experience with ServiceNow for task management
