Yard Driver Opr - 2ND (D Crew) Shift - Full Time - Center Processing Plant

Job Description:

Team member Hauls trailers to and from the live/shipping dock. As the live poultry has entered the grounds the yard truck driver is responsible for picking the load up in a timely manner, weighing the live poultry trailer, and placing it in the holding shed. Yard driver are also responsible for moving trailer on the yard to their designated and necessary locations. On-Property Driver is responsible for the movement and spotting of trailers to facilitate the needs of the plant in sorting and processing material(s) for shipment or storage. Driver is responsible for timely movements and thorough knowledge of on-hand trailer pool and positioning. Must have the ability to acknowledge and recognize hazards on the property; vehicle traffic areas; pedestrian traffic areas; proper load/cargo securement; maximum speed limits; and safe docking operations.

Requirements:

• Must have a state issued driver's license
• No DUI/DWIs in the last 12 months
• At least 18 years of age
• Willing to have a Motor Vehicle Report checked
• Rehires must wait 180 days and must not have more than 3 rehires to be eligible for rehire.
