RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Mountain View, CA that is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join their team on a 6-month contract.Responsibilities:- Guide product, design, and marketing stakeholders in reframing their questions and assumptions into clear research goals, testable hypotheses, and learning plans
- Clearly articulate methodology recommendations and industry best practices to educate teams on quality research
- Lead multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
- Contribute to a community of design research practice across our client and beyond
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, or a related field/equivalent preferred
- 5+ years of UX/design research experience, working cross functionally with
- Systems thinker - you can think and organize for scale, re-usability and visual frameworks
- Experience or passion for behavioral science/behavioral design, design ethics, or design
- Along with your resume, we'd love to see work samples
- A track record of successfully scoping and managing research engagements throughout the human-centered design process in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, design, product managers, customer success, etc.)
- Depth of qualitative research craft
- Demonstrated ability in designing and leading strategic qualitative research, specifically remote interviews, concept exploration and evaluation, and usability testing
- Strong moderation skills, able to adapt to the flow of conversation a probe to uncover deeper insights
- Proficiency in using a wide range of digital UI research and mobile ethnography tools
- Values process and rigor but thrives in a fast paced environment and bring creative problem solving to research
- Some experience with quantitative research a plus
- An appreciation for the value of hard data in complementing qualitative findings
- Some experience designing quant UX studies, experiments, and/or surveys and analyzing data
- Strong synthesis and communication skills
- Ability to translate research data into clear insights, durable frameworks, and actionable recommendations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
